Senior Loss Control Consultant, Batavia IL

Aires Consulting, a Division of Gallagher Bassett Services is seeking a Senior Loss Control Consultant. Experience in PSM and/or Machine Guarding is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and provides high level specialized loss control services including; PSM, PHA, Machine Guarding, Lockout/Tag Out (LOTO), NFPA 70E
  • Provides other professional consulting services to clients.
  • Performs other divisional supportive functions as assigned.
  • Understands and applies loss control service techniques.
  • Manages loss control service to clients.
  • Interfaces effectively with management.
  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors loss prevention service to multi-location clients.
  • Develops, implements, and supervises loss control service plans.
  • Negotiates effectively.
  • The ability to service complex clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, science, business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five to ten years of experience. Experience in one or more of the following required: PSM, Machine Guarding, LOTO, PHA, NFPA 70E
  • Provides on-site service to clients, therefore:
  • ΠMust have a valid driver’s license or have dependable auto transportation available.
  • ΠWill be required to survey client properties which could entail negotiating non-public access areas, climbing, lifting, sitting, standing, and walking. Frequency of surveys by type of client will vary.

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in safety, engineering, science, business or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
