March Meeting @ Werner Ladder

This event will begin with how to safely inspect a ladder. After inspection, we will discuss how to properly set up a Ladder and best practices for safe use. We will present new ladders that are becoming popular in the industry before going into Fall Protection. The ABC’s of Fall Protection will be taught to give an overview of what makes a Fall Protection System. Next, we will teach the “Walk It Down” – a practice for understanding all the components of a harness and how it should be worn. Lastly, we will use our tripod to system to simulate a fall and demonstrate how to combat suspension trauma.

Speaker:  Jack Buckley:

Jack Buckley is the Regional Product Specialist for Werner Co. He is 23 years-old and graduated from Illinois State University with a Degree in Business Administration. Jack’s role as an R.P.S. includes supporting 5 End-User Specialists across the Midwest, as well as conducting Ladder & Fall Protection Safety Trainings.
